I know you all would be waiting for the next one on Mohit's school time adventures but this is something I couldnt resist putting in here before I write something else.
This is one great poem which Mohit's cousin sister wrote for him almost impromptu and narrated in front of hundreds of people. The way she has described the emotions of a mother who lost her son for the country are exemplary. She wept and recited this poem and made even the strongest of hearted people including the ones from the forces as well as politicians marking their attendance cry.
This is a scanned copy so please fogive me for the resolution but hopefully by the time you have gone thru it all you would have forgiven me for my haste....
This poem was recited by her on 1st April 09 at Mohits residence where lot of people gathered to pray & to pay their tribute to this braveheart soldier.I was present there too for the prayer meeting. While listening this poem I cldnt control myself & my tears kept rolling down.It was so overwhelming. In
ReplyDeletetrue sense I could relate to it.This girl was also crying but kept on reciting.
Infact I would like to mention that Major Sushant from his unit also shared his experiences abt Mohits bravery etc & they actually brought smile on my face.
One of the incident was abt his boxing competetion when he fractured his nose. This incident reminds the word "No" meant a challenge for him. While he was in academy, all of sudden I recd a call from him saying"Kaisi hai ,chal milte hai "I was suprised coz it wasnt vacation time. Then he told that he broke his nose in a boxing championship.I told him "look u shld keep away from this game ,its not meant for you & u ll get hurt badly."
He replied,"tabhi to khel kar aya hoon ,see I am again a winner ,jeet kar ghar aane ka mazaa hi alag hai."
Madhur Bhaiya though I dont know much abt his boxing skills except this incident so pls put some light on this as well.
There are many incidents like these which shows that he was Extremely daring & fearless..
